Add the CopyMe plugin

The plugin connects CopyMe and teaches Claude how CopyMe scripts work: written to be said, timed in seconds, edited without losing their formatting.

  1. Open Claude’s plugins

In Claude on the web or the desktop app, open Customize, then Plugins.

    Open Claude’s plugins
  2. Add CopyMe’s marketplace

Choose Add, then Add marketplace, then Add from a repository. Enter this, then choose Sync:

    ebenezerdon/copyme-claude
  3. Add the plugin and connect
CopyMe appears in the list: choose Add. On the plugin’s page, open Connectors and choose Connect. If you added the CopyMe connector before, it already shows Connected.
  4. Sign in to CopyMe and choose Allow
A CopyMe page asks you to allow Claude to read, write and organize your scripts. Check it shows the CopyMe account you want, then choose Allow.
  5. Ask Claude
Start a chat and ask for a script, a change or a plan. Claude uses CopyMe when your request needs it.

On your phone: add the plugin once on the web or desktop and it works in the Claude app too.

In Claude Code: a plugin added in Claude turns up there too. To add it in Claude Code itself:

/plugin marketplace add ebenezerdon/copyme-claude /plugin install copyme@copyme

Plugins need a paid Claude plan.

Or add only the connector

The connector gives Claude CopyMe’s tools without the plugin’s know-how. Choose Add as a connector: Claude opens its Add custom connector box with CopyMe filled in. Check the address is https://copyme.cc/mcp, choose Add, then sign in to CopyMe and choose Allow.

Add as a connector

In Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http copyme https://copyme.cc/mcp

What Claude can do in CopyMe

Write
Saves new scripts to your library at the length you ask for, in your style, with section labels, B-roll notes and delivery marks where they help.
Edit
Tightens a hook, cuts to a length, translates. Paragraphs it doesn’t touch keep their formatting, and it can step back through its last ten changes.
Plan
Sees your library by stage, schedules publish dates and platforms, tags, renames and archives scripts.
Ideas
Saves a batch of video ideas to the Ideas stage, and tells you when one looks like a script you already have.
Scripts Claude saves or changes show as a small CopyMe prompter in the chat.

Try asking

  • Read my latest CopyMe script and tighten the hook.
  • Cut my lighting script to 30 seconds.
  • Make a Spanish version of that Short.
  • Plan my next two weeks of videos in CopyMe, three a week.
  • Turn these notes into ten video ideas in CopyMe.
  • Move everything I recorded this week to Recorded and tag it batch-3.

Questions

Plugin or connector?
The plugin. It includes the connector, plus how to write a script for the ear, time it in seconds, edit it without losing its formatting and plan a content calendar, so Claude’s scripts come out ready to read. The connector alone gives Claude the tools without that know-how. Adding both is fine: they share one connection.
What can Claude see?
Only what it reads to do what you asked: the list of your scripts, and a script when it opens one. It can’t see your recordings, which stay on your device.
Can Claude delete my scripts?
No. It can archive a script, which you can restore. Claude can also undo its own edits, back to its last ten changes, as long as you haven’t changed the script yourself since.
What if the script is open in CopyMe while Claude edits it?
The change merges into the editor, the same way an edit from another device does. Nothing you typed is lost.
Do I need a plan?
Claude can read your scripts on any CopyMe account. Saving and changing them needs a CopyMe plan, the same as in the editor. Plugins and custom connectors need a paid Claude plan.
Does it work in other languages?
Yes. Claude can write in any language, and sets the script’s language so the prompter follows your voice in it.
How do I disconnect?
In CopyMe, open Settings, then Account, then Connected apps, and choose Disconnect. In Claude, you can also remove the plugin under Customize, then Plugins, or the connector under Customize, then Connectors.

If something goes wrong

Claude doesn’t use CopyMe
Open the CopyMe plugin under Customize, then Plugins, and check its Connectors tab shows Connected. If it doesn’t, choose Connect.
“Couldn’t connect”
Try Connect again. For a connector added by hand, check the address is exactly https://copyme.cc/mcp.
It signed in to the wrong CopyMe account
On the CopyMe page that asks to allow Claude, choose Switch account first. To fix it later, disconnect and connect again.
