Delete your CopyMe account

1. Delete it in Settings

• Open CopyMe (the Android app or copyme.cc) and sign in.
• Go to Settings, then Account.
• Under Danger zone, choose Delete account.
• Type DELETE and confirm. For security, you may be asked to sign in again first.

A subscription is cancelled first, so a deleted account is never charged again. To keep a copy of your scripts, download a backup in Settings before deleting. To keep videos synced with Cloud Sync, download them to a device first.

2. Or ask by email

If you can’t sign in, email copyme@ebenezerdon.com from the address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. The account is deleted within 30 days and you get a reply when it is done.

3. What is deleted

• Your account: name, email address and profile photo.
• Your content: scripts, ideas, comments, approvals and anything shared with other people.
• Your settings, writing samples, AI writer briefs and allowance counts.
• The record of how you used CopyMe and where the account came from.
• Videos synced with Cloud Sync: every copy in CopyMe’s cloud storage, at once.
• Recordings and rehearsals kept on your devices are deleted from the device you delete the account on. On other devices, remove them first in Settings > Data, or clear CopyMe’s site data there.

4. What is kept

Payment records are kept by our payment provider for as long as tax law requires. Anonymous totals remain, with nothing that links them to you. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
